Tyah Pettaway led all scorers with 26 points and Middletown blitzed Bristol Eastern in the third quarter to come away with a 66-48 CCC girls basketball victory Tuesday night at LaBella-Sullivan Gymnasium.

Shalyn Smith contributed 14 points in her return to the Middletown lineup and Shadae Bushay added 12 as the Blue Dragons got back on a winning track following last week’s home loss to Berlin.

All-State performer Ciara Collins led the Lancers (3-4) with 23 points and Vanessa Drury chipped in with 12.
