Jada Bryant scored a season-high 17 points and Tyah Pettaway poured in 17 as well to lead Middletown to its fourth win of the season, 65-36 over Lyman Hall on Monday in Wallingford.

Shalyn Smith contributed 8 points to the Blue Dragons’ cause and Shadae Bush added 7.

Middletown (4-1) jumped out to a 31-2 first-quarter lead and had a 38-point lead at halftime.

Shea Barron led the Trojans with 9 points.

Middletown’s three-game week continues with a 2pm home game Wednesday against undefeated Sheehan (4-0).

Xavier edges Valley Regional in Art Kohs Tournament

In Middletown, the Falcons held off the Warriors in the fourth quarter for a 48-46 victory to reach the tournament final against Waterford. Valley’s 3-point attempt to win it in the waning seconds was off the mark. The Warriors will play Glastonbury in the consolation game Tuesday.
