Haddam-Killingworth scored early and often Tuesday in a 6-1 victory over Hale-Ray. The Cougars’ Shoreline Conference home game was their Pink Game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Emmy Kehlenbach scored 4:17 into the match to put the Cougars (6-4-1) on the board. Leah Chester scored 2 minutes later, assisted by Crisoulo.
Hadley Commerford converted at 11:18 and Julia Favalora followed with a goal in the 19th minute to give H-K a 4-0 advantage.
The Cougars increased their lead in the second half as Criscoulo converted on a rebound off Hale-Ray keeper Caroline Bonadies. After an own goal, Kehlenbach completed the scoring in the 71st minute off a corner kick by Chester.
H-K goalie Rhianna Phipps had 3 saves, while Bonadies had 1 for the Noises (1-8-0).
