Morgan’s Ethan Reemsnyder reached on an error in the ninth inning and scored on an errant throw with two outs as the Huskies defeated Haddam-Killingworth 4-3 on Saturday in Clinton.
Morgan’s first win of the year ended H-K’s season-opening winning streak at three.
Ryan Inglis and Luke Furches had two hits each for the Huskies, who scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. Gary Garbinski, who came on after starter Mike Pelletier went eight innings, struck out the side in the ninth for the win.
Luke Dimauro had a double and drove in a run for H-K.
