Middletown High’s List Of Winter Season Recognition

In lieu of a winter sports banquet, Middletown High released its list of the season’s award-winning athletes, plus the names of 72 students who earned All-Academic distinction in the Central Connecticut Conference.

MHS’ winter season included CCC South Colonial Division titles in boys basketball, boys ice hockey and boys swimming and diving, as well as All-State honors for wrestler Kalil Shabazz and hockey player Trevor Schad of the Wethersfield/Middletown/Rocky Hill/Plainville co-op team. Shabazz was the 126-pound Class L champion and state champion.
