The All-Shoreline Conference boys basketball selections were revealed Monday and it came as no surprise that Old Lyme senior forward Aedan Using was chosen as the league’s player of the year.

Using is a three-time All-Shoreline player and is expected to receive First Team All-State recognition for a second year once the season concludes.

Wire to wire, Old Lyme has been the Shoreline’s top team with a 19-1 overall record and 16-0 mark in league play. The Wildcats will meet Cromwell in the conference tournament semifinals on Tuesday.

Hale-Ray’s Corey Zdunczyk was named Shoreline Coach of the Year after guiding the Noises to a 12-win regular season and their first state tournament berth since the 2010-11 season.
