Senior Night at Coginchaug belonged to Justin Penney.

The high-scoring Blue Devils guard dropped 27 points Thursday night to propel Coginchaug to a 62-49 Shoreline Conference home win over Old Saybrook.

Penney, the only Coginchaug player to score in double figures, had 15 points in the first half, hitting on 7 of 8 from the free-throw line. The Blue Devils established a 35-25 lead at halftime and pulled away in the third quarter by outscoring Old Saybrook 15-7.

Riley Lawson led the Rams with 17 points and Davis Brown scored 14.
