Turecek Scores 18 Points, Devils Snap Losing Streak

HIGGANUM – Kerry Turecek scored 18 points and Coginchaug snapped a three-game losing streak with a 50-35 Shoreline Conference victory over Haddam-Killingworth on Tuesday night.

Jessica Berens chipped in 11 points for the Blue Devils, who had a 10-point lead at halftime and pulled away from there.

Freshman Kaleigh Bodak led the Cougars with 9 points.

Stolstajner had 7 rebounds, Monica Dewey had 9 assists and Sadie Budzik had 10 points and 4 assists for the Panthers.
